Big Plates
Cod: BP 005 Information
Designed
to hang, the plate is of a foot unglazed and is
handcrafted under glaze in a cobalt technique. It is
lobed rimmed and consisted of spiral motifs with
rosettes on the joints. Spiral like Tuğrakeş
style is an abstract style. Interior are eight clouds
stylized. The
sample plates are in British Museum and Kuwait National
Museum.
