After lunch continue to Pergamum Acropolis. Visit Athena
and Trojan Temples, Temple of Zeus, Temple of Dionysos,
Gymnasium of Youth, Odeon, Library, Agora, Great Theatre
and Roman Bath.

and drive to Selcuk. You will visit Temple of Artemis
(Diana). (One of the seven wonders in the ancient world's)
Continue to visit the Virgin Mary's nearby stone cottage, which
both Pope Paul VI in 1967 and Pope John Paul II in 1979
have celebrated mass here.
Ephesus is one of the largest archeological site, for
many Cristians the best-known building in Ephesus
is the large Theater where a 1st century AD silversmith
attempted to stir up a riot to get rid of Paul who was
damaging his business of making images of Diana.

PRIENE – MILETOS – DIDYMA TOUR ..….

Meeting
with your guide and drive to Priene.
This was once a harbour city but is now located
16 km inland from the sea on the hills of the Mykale
Mountain. It has many examples of Hellenic art and
architecture. Alexander The Great lived in this city for
a time. The theatre in Priene is one of the most
beautiful ones from The Hellenic World. The Athena
Polias Temple was reconstructed by Alexander The Great
as a gift to the city.
After Priene, you will depart for Miletos.
Visit the ancient city of Miletus which once was one of
the biggest cities in Anatolia. It was located on the
trade routes and it was for this reason that it became
very prosperous and had many colonies. Miletos
is famous for its genius philosphers and architects,
such as Thales, Anaksimandros, Anaksimenes, Hippodamos
and Isidoros. Miletos
is also famous for the Faustina Baths.
Lunch break and then visit to Didyma.
This was not a city but a temple dedicated to
Apollon. It was once one of the biggest temples in the
Hellenic World. It was connected to Miletos
with a holy road of 19km.
After Didyma drive to Kusadasi or Selcuk.

SARDIS TOUR .….
Departure

Depart
for Sardis, the capital of ancient Lydia, where
one of the churches of St. John existed.
Tour the ruins of the temple of Cybele and Diana,
where a 4th century Basilica was added later.
See the golden river of Pactalos and the Royal
Road.
Visit the reconstructed synagogue, and the gymnasium.
ransfer back to Selcuk or Kusadasi.
