Small Plates Cod:  SP 009 Information

These bold designs, practically ubiquitous in these three - color dishes, almost vanish by the time the next color - purple - is introduced to the Iznik palette sometime in the second half of the 1540s. The some potters, however, persisted in the use of the earlier blue and turquoise scheme as Figs. The samples are present in Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Museum Lisbon..
