Vases and Jar  Cod:  VJ 001 Information

On the central part are chains and spirals and colored in cobalt with a blue and white under glaze technique the Vases can see the inscription around the neck and below. The dominant motifs are the lotus flowers that are largely designed inside the Vases. This kind is of the method applied in 1510s. The samples are among the Godman Collection. The inscriptions are in calligraphic form. The calligraphies forms do not differ from first method of the lotus style. Certainly the samples are from the Sultan Beyazit Tomb.
